Lindau Care Home is a family run business which specialises in elderly care. We pride ourselves on creating a ‘home from home’ atmosphere for the people who choose to use our services. Lindau Residential Home is situated amongst well maintained houses in a delightful tree lined street in Littlestone on Sea, close to New Romney in Kent. The local village amenities include a GP surgery, Post Office, shops and a local pub. Additionally the beach and golf course just a five minute stroll away.
The Kent Coastal region is rich with places of historical and cultural interest, all within easy reach of Lindau. Attractions include Norman Churches, the Battle of Britain Museum and Dover Castle.

I wish to report on record what I believe to be a care provider providing outstanding service towards their residents and families. My mum moved into long term care in Lindau Residential Homes, New Romney, Kent just before Christmas 2021 following a decline in her physical and emotional health. My mum has ‘high care needs’. After a short period in their care, my mum had regained her confidence and the positive change in her emotional and mental wellbeing was amazing as she received the superb care, dignity and respect given by Lindau.
The home is always so clean and welcoming and the support we have been given by the manager Natacha Heyburn and her staff team have been brilliant. External health care professionals have been bought in when additional needs have been identified for mum, and there are daily activities for the residents to participate in to encourage social interaction and maintain physical and emotional wellbeing. I am a former care manager with a decade of experience spent within the care sector, and I can say that in my opinion, Lindau provides outstanding levels of care towards my mum and us as a family, and I have witnessed firsthand how their care has changed my mum’s life for the better as she faces the challenges of growing older with complex care needs.
